DEMO SUBMISSIONS
We are always on the look out for new talent and love listening to
new music, so if you have anything you think may be of interest then
please let us know.
Do not send unsolicited emails with large files attached as this clogs up our inbox.
Please be aware that we get sent scores of demos every
week. Most of these are by yousendit, rapidshare or sendspace and this is not the best way to get your demo listened to/noticed. The problem with file transfer programs is that we end up with loads
of tracks on our desktops and this can lead to us not being able to link the track to the person who sent it in or we get
to a day which we are going to dedicate A + R to and the links have
expired. Just as in the old days of sending CD's by post the
advice was always to do something to get your CD noticed and "to the top of the
pile” the same is the case for digital links. The
best way to submit tracks is to get yourself a bit
of hosting space and upload your tracks as high quality MP3's to this. You can then email us the links that
we can download or stream directly from your email.
We do still listen to CD's but the above method will guarantee the quickest response
Unfortunately,
we cannot respond to everything we receive and equally we do not have
the time to give detailed feedback on unsuccessful submissions. If we
hear something we like, we will be in touch.
We
should point out that a significant proportion of our artists were
initially signed on the strength of unsolicited demos, so please get in
touch if you think you have something that may be of interest to us.
We look forward to hearing from you.
