RECOVERWORLD STUDIO

The Recoverworld Studio has a history all of its own starting life in the early nineties as Chris Hampshire’s writing suite. As it grew in stature it became a business in its own right and spawned the name “Interflow Sounds”.

Towards the late nineties, still with Chris Hampshire as owner and sound engineer, the studio had blossomed a label of the same name and was having a steady stream of clients through the door and in 2002 over 100 commercial releases were produced in the studio.

This included remixes/projects for Sinead O’Conner, Tiesto, Slinky, Nukleuz, Signum, Baroque, Tommy Boy and ironically enough, Eve Records.

With several premises moves and a shift in focus towards CD mastering and Digital Editing together with working on in house tracks for Recoverworld, Interflow Sounds worked in tandem with Recoverworld when Chris took over the labels in 2004.

However, in 2005 the studio was absorbed into the Recoverworld business, finally disposing of the Interflow name and becoming the official Recoverworld studio.

Today it offers the very best mix of digital and analogue technology nestling comfortably into its acoustically treated air conditioned environment.

The studio itself, whilst incorporated within the Recoverworld Label Group is much more than just an in house studio.

Our client list includes Ministry of Sound, Baroque, Critical Rhythm, Seamless Recordings, Vintage Grooves, Apace, Enhanced Recordings, Hitmania and many more.

The studio has evolved from a fully hardware based set up into a hybrid domain based around the very best analogue gear such as our bespoke SSL summing mixer, Drawmer compressors and Lexicon FX boxes. In addition to that we still love our  Novation, Korg, Roland, Yamaha and EMU synths all linked nicely into our Mac G5 running Logic Pro and a host of plug ins and AU’s.

Our vocals are recorded in our sound proofed vocal room together with our radio show. Our in house CD duplication facilities with full colour onbody printing has the capacity for up to 500 CD’s a day.
